Non Invasive Vascular Analyzer
A medical device to early detect cardiovascular diseases (CVD).
NIVA is a medical deviice that provides 15 parameters of cardiovascular measurement, and 
only needs 12-15 minutes to conduct the screening.

Screening test is done to detect potential health disorders or diseases in people who do not have any symptoms of disease. The goal of cardiovascular screening is early detection and lifestyle changes or surveillance, to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease, or to detect it early enough to treat it most effectively. The primary purpose of screening tests is to detect early disease or risk factors for disease in large numbers of apparently healthy individuals. Screening tests are used when the method can discover a disease when it is still curable.
Parameters of Measurement 
Systolic
Systolic blood pressure is the maximum pressure experienced in the aorta when the heart contracts and pumps blood into the aorta from the left ventricular side. Generally displayed as the top number in the blood pressure display
 
Diastolic
Diastolic blood pressure is the minimum pressure experienced in the aorta when the heart is relaxing before ejecting blood into the aorta from the left ventricle. ABI
This is an abbreviation for Ankle-Brachial Index, which is a non-invasive screening that compares blood pressure in the arms to blood pressure in the legs in order to diagnose peripheral artery disease (PAD). This ratio is calculated based on dividing the systolic blood pressure at the ankle by the systolic blood pressure at the arm

 
baPWV
baPWV stands for brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity, which is a non-invasive measure of arterial stiffness. It is calculated by dividing the distance between the brachial and ankle pulse wave recording sites by the time interval between the two waveforms
 
Vascular Age
Vascular age is an estimate of a person's cardiovascular health based on their risk factors and the condition of their blood vessels. It is calculated by comparing a person's vascular health to that of a healthy person of the same age and gender
 
Large Artery Compliance
Large artery compliance refers to the ability of the large arteries to expand and contract in response to changes in blood pressure. It is an important factor in maintaining normal blood pressure and preventing cardiovascular disease
 
Small Artery Compliance
Small artery compliance refers to the ability of the small arteries to expand and contract in response to changes in blood pressure. It is an important factor in maintaining normal blood pressure and preventing cardiovascular disease
 
Pulse Width
Pulse width is the duration of the pulse, which is the time between the start and end of the pulse wave. It is a measure of the time it takes for the pulse wave to travel through the arterial system
 
Augmentation Index
Augmentation index is a measure of arterial stiffness and wave reflection. It is calculated by dividing the difference between the second and first systolic peaks of the arterial waveform by the pulse pressure
 
Inflection Point Area
Inflection point area is a measure of arterial stiffness and wave reflection. It is calculated by measuring the area under the arterial waveform between the first and second systolic peaks
 
Stiffness Index
Stiffness index is a measure of arterial stiffness and wave reflection. It is calculated by dividing the natural logarithm of the ratio of the second and first systolic peaks of the arterial waveform by the pulse pressure
 
Time Delay
Time delay is the time it takes for the pulse wave to travel from the heart to a specific location in the arterial system. It is a measure of arterial stiffness and wave reflection
 
Systolic Amplitude
Systolic amplitude is the difference between the maximum and minimum values of the arterial waveform during systole. It is a measure of arterial stiffness and wave reflection
 
Pulse Interval
Pulse interval is the time between two consecutive pulses. It is a measure of the time it takes for the pulse wave to travel through the arterial system
 
Heart Rate
Heart rate is the number of times the heart beats per minute. It is an important factor in determining blood pressure and cardiovascular health
